I bought Groundswell, a book about social technologies and social media. It seemed worth the price for its insights into ‘technography,’ or ethnography applied to internet usage. An interesting ‘persona’ from the various categories is the Alpha Mum (Mom). She is a tech-savvy mother, apparently of interest to the likes of Nintendo and others. I wander how mobile services might be packaged and offered to Alpha Mums, or even Alpha families?
