There is no cooler gadget right now that the Flip Video, which is the easiest-to-use video camera on the market. What’s more, it has built-in idiot-proof software (Mac and PC) that enables you to download the clips, share them and even edit into short movies. The device plugs straight into the USB port and the software runs from the device. It has YouTube sharing and other video sharing services built directly into the software.

This seems such an obvious way to do video properly, especially for those that just want to click, shoot and go straight to YouTube. Of course, it would be even better if it did go straight to YouTube, which could be done with 3G videophony. Handset manufacturers, including Apple, should take note of how to do video for the masses. This is a brilliant device!
