This is slightly old news, although it hasn’t happened yet, but the BBC confirms iPlayer for iPhone, iPod touch “within weeks” - iPod/iPhone - Macworld UK.

I don’t usually watch TV, but with iPlayer I can pick and choose some great BBC content. By far my favourite program is Beat The Boss. Kids compete with adults to design products for kids, voted on by kids. It’s not always possible to tell who will win, but just so fascinating to watch.

If you’ve got kids of your own, try getting them to brain-storm the product ideas during the program. It’s a really fun, creative and educational way to enjoy television - edutainment.

And this makes me think (see my last post about entertainment) - why doesn’t Google have a kids interface? What they have is ‘parental control.’
